Robyn Anson

Robyn Anson was born and raised in New Zealand, where she trained as a teacher. At twenty years of age, she moved to the United States to study and went on to obtain her master’s in special education. Robyn is a mother of four, and describes herself as a Christian, an athlete, a survivor of physical, sexual, and psychology abuse, and a lifelong learner.

She openly talks about her childhood abuse, how it shaped and formed her, and how she has channeled her stress, negative beliefs and deep feelings. Robyn’s interest in sports blazed her path forward and she went on to become a competitive athlete, running marathons, triathlons, and single scull rowing. Challenges persisted and three years ago, while out training for a race on her bike, she was hit by a car that has left her with Post-Concussion Syndrome. Her faith, mindful skill sets and spirit of volunteerism have been her mainstay seeing her through this challenging time.
