KIM TAPPER

Kim Tapper, MS, PCC, CTP, A Place To Be Co-Founder Kim has worked in the expressive arts and therapeutic field with teens and adults for over 20 years. She holds degrees in Psychology and Dance Movement Therapy, is a Certified Trauma Professional and Certified Life Coach with additional certificates in Trauma-Informed Expressive Arts Therapy and Positive Psychology Coaching.

Kim focuses on working with individuals to expand their sense of wholeness to engage completely in their lives. She specializes in working with the psychosocial and emotional needs of teens and adults coping with medical challenges, disabilities, special needs caregiving, anxiety, self-esteem, and grief. Kim has served as a group facilitator and guest speaker in multiple settings including hospital support groups, conferences, retreats and workshops. As the Co-Founder of A Place To Be, she spent the last 11 years creating an inclusive community for families with medical and disability related challenges to increase independence, belonging, and hope.
