About Greg

Greg White is Clinical Psychologist with a 45-year background in meditation practices of Sufism, Soto Zen, Vipassana, Tibetan Buddhism, and particularly Thich Nhat Hanh who has said his teachings are “of early Buddhism in a Mahayana spirit” and is known for an emphasis on Mindfulness. Greg combines contemplative approaches to psychotherapy with Jungian, Humanistic, Interpersonal, and Cognitive-Behavioral perspectives. He lives in Redding, California and has been on the full-time faculty of various universities in the USA and New Zealand. Greg spends his leisure time tending to his garden, enjoying his grandchildren, writing poetry and hiking all over the world.
