Melinda Rhoads

About Melinda | NP & Certified Nurse Midwife

Having worked in women’s health for more than 15 years, much of Melinda’s education has come from experience, in addition to degrees and certifications. After the birth of her third child, she grew frustrated with the lack of support and understanding she received from her own health care providers. Melinda knew that the lack of energy, anxiety, brain fog, skin changes, and food sensitivities she was experiencing were not “normal”.

Melinda’s research on environmental exposures, food sensitivities, vitamin deficiencies, and lifestyle stressors led her to a more functional/integrative health approach. Through significant dietary changes, supplements for vitamin deficiencies, environmental changes, and lifestyle adjustments, she was able to improve her symptoms and return to a positive state of well-being.  Through her experience, Melinda’s passion to help women in her community reach their optional wellness has grown. Her advanced training in thyroid function, adrenals, food sensitivities, gut health, and hormone balancing allows her to provide a comprehensive assessment and individualized plan for each patient that works for their lifestyle.
